Winter is back

Just a quick note...the weather here today is -24 and with the wind chill a chilly -32. So I am staying indoors. It was stormy yesterday...Dad was finished his treatment just around 1 PM and intended to get his truck from Wendys and head home. We intervened just slightly...Don picked him up and they decided to check the highway. It was not wonderful so Don took Dad home to Weyburn ...Dad thought I was going to Weyburn so Don called me on his cell on the way back and said I shouldn't even think about it. He was in a white out!! We will make some kind of arrangement to get Dad back here on Monday in time for his treatment. Patrick's birthday is on Monday so we will have a birthday supper at Wendy's house tomorrow nite. Erin, bless her heart is going shopping today for the gift. I was at a loss...Patrick has everything...I am sure Erin will come up with just the right thing and then I will pay her...nice to have my own personal shopper!!!
