My Secret Santa

I was very fortunate and blessed to have a wonderful secret Santa this year. Around the end of November when I thought I was recovering my brother Peter and his wife Holley were in Regina for Agribition. Peter, my sister Wendy and I went for brunch and then we went shopping for a new GPS for one of Peter's trucks. While we were in this electronic store I decided to look at digital cameras. I had some specifics I wanted for my camera and was busy telling Wendy about them. Peter found a GPS and then he came over to where we were. So he wanted to know what we were doing. I went into a great long diatribe about this camera I was going to purchase for myself for Christmas and he explained all about the digital camera they bought to go to Mexico with. Then he said...Well, there will be some sales on..so I didn't buy a camera that day. Then I got a relapse and was busy bugging Wendy and Jill ...anyone would listen to me from my vantage point on the chesterfield...please go and get me a camera...I wanted it for Christmas this year....not next year!!! Anyway no one stepped up to the plate and I was too sick to go get my own so decided I would just use Jill's this year. On Christmas Eve at Kerri's Peter called and went into a great song and dance about how Grandmas & Grandpas get to open a gift early. I was not getting it so Peter finally said....there would be this parcel under the tree in a bag with my name on it from Wendy and that I should open it that nite and call him back. So that is what I did. You guessed it...my brother bought me the digital camera!!! I was absolutely blown away by this random act of kindness from a loving brother. And I am thrilled to pieces...it has a built in web cam and all sorts of other toys...like movies etc. I am now busy trying out everything.
