My best friend, great buddy and partner in crime, Carol had a big birthday....we have been friends for over 30 years.....our girls are the same age and are best buds too....we had a party...with much love and laughter...in the back row from left to right Kerri, Patti, Sherri and Jill. When the kids were young everyone thought Carol's kids were mine because they were fair and I was fair...we have a semi load and then some of memories!!! In the pic above...the girls said we better get a picture with the "Crones"!!
Carol collects Angels and her husband, Elmer, managed to find a couple of young girls who make interesting cakes! This angel cake is all chocolate....the flowers, the pearls, the wings, the dress and wrap are all made of white chocolate! It is a work of art!

The birthday cakes I make for my grandchildren, etc. are crude compared with that angel cake! It's beautiful and like you said is a work of art.
