While we were touring we ran into a couple of friends on horeback....so stopped to chat and lament the fate of the old hospital. You could probably build a house with the lumber boarding the windows....and think how many houses could be built with the bricks.....A few years ago a play was held here....the people who purchased tickets were the actors...going through the daily routine of doctors, nurses, kitchen staff, laundry staff, patients, farm workers and grounds keepers. At the end Jill was interviewed and gave a very profound overview ......a tour of the hospital was part of the ciriculum when we were in high school.......many people here and many who are not here anymore have memories of all kinds about this very unique piece of our history.
