My brother is remodeling this 110 year old house. The boards under those stair are the original floor my grandad built in 1897. I was choked up today thinking of grandad building this original structure over 100 years ago. There is no insulation in the original building but lots of rusty nails!! It is going to be totally transformed when it is finished.
