Learning Spanish!

I am trying to learn Spanish...we are going to Cuba for a wedding. My youngest daughter is getting married in Cuba to a Cuban!!! It is so exciting...lots to do and not much time....I am putting a scrapbook together of our family for her Cuban family. We all have our dresses.....Jill's is so lovely...I will post pics when we come home.

Right now I am trying to think of something truly unique to Saskatchewan that I can pack and take with as a favor for the Cuban guests. Also putting together little gifts for her fiancee's family. I can't wait to meet them.

Harvest is in full swing...I hope the weather lasts for a while...we have had so much rain and hail and flooding here this summer. It means overtime for me...work is so very busy!

Wow! Going to Cuba...I've never been there. What an exciting time for you. I hope you find just what you're looking for to take with you. The thing that came to my mind immediately is a miniature grain elevator! I'll be eagerly looking for your pictures...
