Til Next Year ...at the lake!

Kerri and I went to the lake to close up the cottage...We always have trouble saying goodbye! We procastinate...go for a walk...horse around...eventually we get down to the business at hand. We clean and vacuum, pack up the food from the fridge and freezer! Then we visit with friends ..comes the time when we really have to go. This year we had an extra chore...we had a mouse and vole problem this summer...so even though we didn't really want to ...we put out paper plates with poisonous seed. I will go back one more time to check on things and talk to Terry, a friend who does odd jobs for us. He is going to help us with our Bathroom reno. Piper and his friend Ethan caught some more frogs and then let them go!! This time with no crying..progress made!
