An Evening with John McDermott

John McDermott came to Weyburn as part of the Saskatchewan Music Series. He is an Irish Folk Singer. My sister Wendy and I went to see him a few years ago and he was awesome. He is still awesome and we had front row seats and got to speak with him. When my mother passed away, we played a tape of John McDermott singing Danny Boy at the very end of the service. Danny Boy was my mother's favorite song. John sang Danny Boy at the end of his show. So I bought a couple of CD's...one for my Dad. John signed it "To Pete...Best Wishes John". It was an evening of great music with great friends.
