A Toast to Jill

for a job well done. She defended her masters thesis on Tues. Apr. 21/09.....she received wonderful comments and was told to publish it. The committee also encouraged her to persue a PHD. So she is the proud owner of an MA in Women's Studies & Religious Studies. For now though she is finished with the books and the research....she got on a plane for sunny Cuba and a well deserved break. I went and took her to Crave, a trendy alternative cuisine restaurant for lunch.....deep fried goat cheese rolled in crushed almonds & japanese bread crumbs drizzled with boiled honey, raisins, cranberries, pumpkins seeds, sunflower seeds and spices.....yummmmmy!! Next we had iceberg lettuce fresh rolls..,...mmmmmmm delicious!! We toasted with a white wine sangria...a lovely refreshing fruity drink. Then we went shopping....it was a great day.... Way to go Jilly!!
