Shivering in Saskatchewan

Yes, winter has arrived with a vengance! It is snowing and blowing....-32 with the wind chill...and no let up in sight!! The long range for the next week or so...is -30!!! The Farmer's Almanac says we will have a long cold winter. We have been fortunate...this is the 27th of November and the weather has been above normal for most of the month. That cuts our winter down by quite a bit. I have new boots and new lined pants and long underwear...so when I went to Radville today...I really wasn't cold. I have decided I want a fur hat with ear flaps and a tie under the chin. The RCMP women have them so I am sure I can find one somewhere....that is my next project......

Brrrr! I hope you find the fur hat you want. I'm sure you can too. One thing we observed when we were in Sask. in winter was that people there know how to dress for cold weather. We, here in Michigan, don't really dress warm enough, we don't seem to know how! Or maybe we just don't take the time to. Anyway, I admire you.
