Shauna, Annie and Tim came to Whitebear on Labor Day for my birthday. Picutred here are the roses Kerri brought, also the blueberry, nectarine tarts I baked. The recipe was in an Oprah magazine and looked so yummy I had to bake them. And they were indeed very yummy! It was a beautiful day so we went picking chokecherries and for a walk along the beach. We had burgers and potatoe salad. A great day! Thanks to everyone who sent wishes!!

I'm sorry I didn't see this before. I've been very lazy about checking blogs. I'm glad you had a nice birthday with my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter! Families are great!
