The Greatest Canadian

Tommy Douglas was voted The Greatest Canadian for his humanitarian work and for Universal Health care. He was a Baptist Minister in Weyburn before he became a politician. On Friday the City of Weyburn held an unveiling of a bronze statue of him along the Souris River and his grandson did the unveiling. A great day for Weyburn. I was fortunate to speak with Kiefer at the Legion for a few minutes after the ceremony.
