Winter
The cold weather and wind that characterize winter on the prairies has arrived. It was bitter out on the road today. A couple of weeks ago I attended a tractor rollover in the country....it was -20 and when I came home I announced I needed a new snow suit!!! I have been looking but not very successful. In the meantime my sister moved here and I have been busy. Today I was wishing I had taken 5 minutes off while I was in Regina and gone shopping. Anyway, I will layer up for tomorrow....the weekend is coming so I will have time to go shopping again. Sometimes I wonder just how smart we are...the geese go south for the winter...how come I stay here where it is so cold??? My friend is in Colorado....I love Colorado and am wondering what the weather is like there right now.

Am I your friend in Colorado? You gave me a nice feeling when I realized you might be writing about me! It's snowing as I write this. I'm hoping it doesn't last...my two daughter's are arriving here today, flying in from Atlanta and Chicago. I love snow, but only when we don't have to go anywhere.
Yes, you are my friend and I love snow in Colorado but I understand your concern when your children are travelling...so I hope it stops and holds off until they are safe and sound with you. I just know you will all have such fun together. Have a wonderful time and build some lovely memories.
