Thanksgiving Day 2008 in Weyburn

When my sister, Judy got up this morning to bake the pies it had not yet started to snow. Just after 8am when I got up the snow started. We got ready and went to church. We came out of church to a full scale blizzard and by 12 Noon already had a couple inches of snow and it is still snowing. Jill and Mike will not venture out of Regina on the icy highways, nor will Melanie and her children leave Wawota. We will cook up another turkey another day. Jim and Jeff will come in from the farm. Those gathered around our table today will be grateful for the blessings of family and friends near and far, knowing we are only as far away as a thought.
Thanksgiving Blessings to all.

Oh my goodness! Well, we were visiting Sask. one year and celebrated Thanksgiving at Arlington Beach when a very bad snow storm hit. It seems so early. But I guess we never know, do we?!
